  • Provide first aid
Course Content
Recognising and treating the following:
Asthma; heart attacks; bleeding; burns; fractures; shock; diabetes;
seizures; strokes; soft tissue injuries and poisoning.
Course Delivery
Training is delivered using class-based teaching and learning, including
discussion groups where practice can be shared and discussed.
Simulated situations are used.

Assessments
Students are assessed against the learning outcomes of the unit
utilising formative and summative assessment tools and methods.

Re-Assessment & Appeals
During the course you will be assessed against the learning outcomes. If you do Not Yet Achieve (NYA) these learning outcomes your Instructor will give you another opportunity to attempt the assessment at the end of the day. Should you still be deemed Not Yet Achieved (NYA) then you may make an appointment to redo the assessment within two weeks from the date of the course. You may appeal any assessment decision with a written application to the General Manager of A1 First Aid Ltd.
